  • Get In Daily Movement – You don’t have to hit the gym daily, but you should keep your body in motion. Whether it be a stroll on the boardwalk, some light yoga, or even being mindful of parking your car farthest from the entrance to get in extra steps, keeping your body in motion will keep it burning. 
  • Plan Ahead – If you want to partake in a festive meal, plan your day around it making sure to take in lots of healthy, lean proteins and veggies, and lots of water throughout the day. It’s better to eat healthy prior rather than deprive yourself all day as you will most likely be hungry and then over indulge. 
  • Limit Alcohol – Alcohol has a lot of sneaky calories and can leave you with a hangover, which will affect your productivity, movement and healthy food choices the next day. Be sure to know your limit and drink a glass of water in between drinks. And if you have a lot of holiday celebrations, consider having seltzer water with lemon or lime some nights.
