CARILLON CARES: BRING CHANGE TO MIND
Empowering Mental Wellbeing
Carillon Cares was founded on the premise of igniting the spirit of community through wellness and this summer, Carillon Cares partners with Bring Change to Mind, bringing you an opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way on your next stay.
One in four people will be affected by a mental illness at some point in their lives and a lack of understanding will prevent millions from seeking help. Bring Change to Mind’s (BC2M) mission for over a decade now has been to end the stigma and discrimination associated with mental health. They collaborate with industry-leading scientists and communities to help genuinely impact the lives of teens and adults nationwide. Their work is grounded in three pillars of support for the communities they serve including creating national advocacy and awareness campaigns, developing national student-led high school club programs, and building a storytelling movement that works to end the stigma in the United States. They currently have reached more than 2 billion people through their advocacy efforts and served more than 100,000 students across the country.

Bring Change To Mind
Co-founded in 2010 by actress and activist Glenn Close, Bring Change to Mind has made its mission to end the stigma and discrimination associated with mental health by encouraging dialogue and raising awareness, understanding and empathy. Based in San Francisco but with a reach far beyond, the nonprofit organization collaborates with industry-leading scientists and communities to help genuinely impact the lives of teenagers and adults across the country with work grounded in three pillars of support: creating national advocacy and awareness campaigns; developing a national student-led high school club program; and building a storytelling movement that works to end the stigma of mental illness in the U.S.
“As an organization committed to ending the stigma surrounding mental health, we are proud to partner with Carillon Miami Wellness Resort in launching the ‘Carillon Cares: Bring Change to Mind’ package. This collaboration allows us to further our mission of fostering conversations and providing vital support to teens across the country. By joining forces with Carillon Miami, we aim to provide essential resources and empower young people to prioritize their mental health in today’s fast-paced world,” said Pamela Harrington, Executive Director, Bring Change to Mind.
BC2M’s network of High School Clubs spanning 43 states mobilizes the voices of 14,000+ students annually to utilize collective power in service of moving the needle in ending the stigma surrounding mental illness. More than 100,000 students have participated in the evidence-based program over its nine years. For more information about Bring Change to Mind, visit bringchange2mind.org.
